ESSA Summer Institute has ended
A reminder to complete the ESSA June Institute EVALUATION for both Day 1 and Day 2!

Welcome to the first annual June Institute for Schools at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines Iowa!  

We hope you find what you need across this 3-day event focused on supports in the areas of literacy, mathematics, social-emotional-behavioral well-being and mental health, subgroups, and culture/climate! This site is for all attendees to have access to presenters and session materials.  This is not where you register.    

Please note that registration must be completed within the AEA Registration System, and that special sessions are pre-registration only. Registration links for the Conference and Special Sessions are located HERE.

Robin Galloway, Ph.D.

Robin Galloway, Ph.D., has worked for 35 years as a K-12 teacher, counselor,  AEA School Improvement Consultant and has served as an external evaluator.  She is also an independent contractor who supports multiple organizations in  identifying needs, developing project outcomes and developing the evaluation plan to determine how well they are meeting with both formative and summative grant outcomes.  Robin conducted the evaluation for the Iowa Safe and Supportive Schools grant and has also conducted the statewide evaluation of Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports over the last 15 years.  Currently, she is also providing technical assistance to 14 school districts to help support the Prosper Project, a newly funded grant with the Partnerships in Prevention Institute (PPSI) at Iowa State University.  Dr. Galloway received her Ph.D., in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Iowa State University.
