Welcome to the first annual June Institute for Schools at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines Iowa!  

We hope you find what you need across this 3-day event focused on supports in the areas of literacy, mathematics, social-emotional-behavioral well-being and mental health, subgroups, and culture/climate! This site is for all attendees to have access to presenters and session materials.  This is not where you register.    

Please note that registration must be completed within the AEA Registration System, and that special sessions are pre-registration only. Registration links for the Conference and Special Sessions are located HERE.

In this session, participants will:
  • Understand the importance of considering contextual influences that impact implementation in secondary schools
  • Identify barriers within your building/district and examine potential contextual considerations that may be contributing factors. Guiding questions will be provided to steer this reflective process.
  • Engage in collective problem solving and solution development to address common challenges faced in high school implementation.
Take away/activity: Guiding questions to be used with staff/district personnel that consider contextual influences potentially impacting implementation fidelity.
